GREETINGS EMPLOYEES! Welcome back to the SHOW AND TELL - EPISODE #4 (with the ever fabulous Amy and Tobes)

TOPLINE UPDATES

WEAPONS (featuring our resident FPS expert Amy)

The moment you've all been waiting for... BIG REVOLVER (which we know you've wanted to see for a little while from the short-form content), so enjoy that

WEATHER

Big ol' update to rain and weather materials. There is now a distinct difference between how rain reacts to buildings and surfaces, the direction of the wind now produces angled droplets and there are dynamic changes to how many droplets are produced (all HIGHLY TECHNICAL STUFF)

VFX: EMP ELECTRICITY UPGRADES

The EMP spike weapon will produce a lightning shock (as seen in the video). This can spread to other nearby vehicles too, so you'll need to keep a lookout to make sure your vehicle doesn't end up fried too.

THE ECONOMY

The economy in our game is very complicated (loot tables, gating systems, certainty / RNG Values, sinks and faucets etc). We've been spending a LOT of time balancing and tweaking how the economy reacts to the world. It takes a lot longer than you think! We wanted to share our progress so far. There will be a lot of balancing made once we get to playtesting too, as its almost impossible to get the balance right first time (as I'm sure you all know).

The Skinner box (google it) is a great reference point for "why looting and RNG makes ya brain go fizzzz" if you're interested in learning more about it!
